Abstract

The main objective of this research was to develop a new innovative theoretical conception for the formation of investigative competencies in students of the Master's Degree ina Educational Management (MGE). A qualitative approach and the expert criterion method were used. Interviews with experts made possible the elaboration of the proposal to provide a solution to the scientific problem related to the limitations that are manifested in the students in the training and development of investigative competencies, as well as a better theoretical and factual treatment in the virtual tutorials developed by the researchers and addressed to the MGE students of the Universidad de Especialidades Espiritu Santo (UEES).

PhD Doctor en Ciencias de la Educación. Licenciatura en Educación. Profesor Titular de la Universidad Espíritu Santo (UEES) en la Facultad de Artes Liberales. Profesor del Máster en Gestión Educativa de la UEES. Docente y auditor académico en la Unidad Educativa Bilingüe Torremar. Ha participado en varios eventos nacionales e internacionales como ponente. Tiene variadas publicaciones en revistas indexadas. Ha trabajado durante más de quince años como docente universitario y ha tenido diferentes responsabilidades, como director de la Formación Doctoral en la Universidad de Cultura Física y Deportes de la Ciudad de Holguín. Ha participado en más de veinte congresos nacionales e internacionales de Pedagogía, Educación y Didáctica. Es tutor de varias tesis doctorales en la Universidad del Rosario en Argentina. Hasta el momento ha formado a tres Doctores en Ciencias en el Tribunal de Ciencias Pedagógicas de Cuba.

He has degrees in Computer Science, Business Administration, Education Sciences, and received his PhD in Education from the University of Melbourne in Melbourne, Australia, in 2018, with his highest concentration of study in foreign language teaching and learning, pedagogy, educational management, and higher education. He currently works for the University of Guayaquil. He is an educator and has experience as an Academic Coordinator. His previous experience also includes working as head of the Humanities and Community and Service departments at the International British School in Quito, Ecuador. He was a professor at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia, and at the University of the Americas (UDLA) in Quito, Ecuador. Dr. Ayala is a member of the Hispanic Studies Teachers Association at Monash University, Australia.
