Abstract

The research work that is presented is entitled: A Methodological Strategy proposal to favor the assertive communicative style in the students of the Faculty of Marketing and Communication and responds to the process of introduction and generalization of one of the priorities of the universities in the current affairs related to communication and its importance for quality in the teaching and learning process in the professional, research and academic training of students at the Ecotec Technological University. It also constitutes an investigative line of the authors of the present investigation in the undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. 


In this study, the limitations in the communicative behavior of the students in the subject of Research Methodology are addressed, who sometimes show inappropriate attitudes in the treatment and behavior in the classroom process, passivity or apathy, in the individual and group activities that are developed as part of the educational teaching process, which affects the development of the assertive communicative style and therefore the academic and investigative performance of the students in the matter. To solve this problem, preparation activities are offered to the student, teaching tasks and teaching activities, which favor the assertive communicative style. The application of the criterion method of the experts and specialists, made it possible to recognize the relevance of the proposal for its implementation in the educational practice of the Faculty of Marketing and Communication, especially in the integration of the areas of humanistic and communication. As possible expected results that the proposal directly affects the assertive behavior of the students in the classes, that they achieve a greater academic production, as well as a better dynamics of the teaching and learning process of the students in Research Methodology.

Teacher and Academic Auditor at Torremar Bilingual School. He has participated in various national and international events. He has more than twenty publications in Indexed Magazines, such as Latindex and Scielo. Doctoral Thesis Tutor at the Universidad del Rosario, Argentina, and the University of Holguín, Cuba. He has received more than one hundred hours of training in Education and Pedagogy in 2020 and 2021.
