Descriptive and correlational study on family educational strategies of students with different socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds

Abstract

The following research thesis is based on a study by Verónica Gubbins and Sebastián Ibarra (2016) developed in Chile, using its methodology and questionnaire, with the appropriate adaptations to the Ecuadorian context in a descriptive and comparative way on the family educational strategies of the parents of Family or parents of third year of basic education, taking into account the academic and economic training, parental disposition towards the school, parental aspirations, parental practices of the proxies or parents in the city of Guayaquil. The technical analysis has been worked on the statistical computer system SPSS. It is part of the study with a hypothesis that indicates differences in the application of family educational strategies between parents with different level of education and economic and cultural income, the same that is confirmed in the results section.
