Comprehensive Analysis of Criminal Behavior in Ecuador: Critical Factors, Challenges and Prevention Strategies

Abstract
Criminal behavior in Ecuador is a multifaceted phenomenon influenced by several critical factors, including GDP, income poverty, unemployment rate, and the advancement of information technology. The challenges in the fight against crime are numerous, highlighting overpopulation, lack of security and control of drug trafficking by gangs. The presence of these factors and the relationship between them and the human being have caused an exorbitant increase in recent years in the percentage of crime and violence in the country, main factors, such as the psychological, environmental, geographical, sociological and economic; To overcome these challenges, greater efficiency in criminal analysis and better legal analysis of the classification of crimes is required.
