The effectiveness of situational leadership and educational management in the San Benildo La Salle School

Abstract
In Latin American countries, education has been considered the important factor for social growth. In this regard, education must prepare processes of innovation and academic and managerial change. The general objective is focused on building a proposal with managerial strategies for the effectiveness of a situational leadership of the manager for educational management in the San Benildo La Salle Educational Unit. The methodology will be under the positivist epistemological paradigm, with the quantitative research approach, and the scientific methods: Descriptive and explanatory, in which the events that occurred in the managerial field of the manager will be presented, and then analyze the data with their respective explanation. In addition, empirical research methods will be used: Observation, measurement and non-experimental data will be collected through a questionnaire for managers and teachers which will be collected in the 2020 period, virtually with the Google Form tool. Also because the variables will not be manipulated: the effectiveness of situational leadership and educational management. The research is justified by the performance of the manager as an educational leader in their management, who acts as an agent of change, based on their experience and possible knowledge about educational management they possess. The relevance is also highlighted by the set of functions performed as manager in correspondence with the provisions established by the Ministry of Education of Ecuador. As conclusions, according to the authors consulted, the leadership of the manager must be situational to adjust to the governmental model of educational reforms in the country.
