Main Article Content
Abstract
Teaching-learning practices have become a challenge for undergraduate law students. For this reason, this article aims to analyze the limitations of teaching the English language through listening comprehension and overcome the limiting barriers. The study approach is qualitative, since the study phenomenon is contextualized according to the grounded theory design. The findings reveal that students in the early stages of learning experience the ability to listen and understand. Therefore, it emphasizes the learning limitations that occur around the English language in terms of listening skills. As conclusive arguments, the detection of basic difficulties in listening and understanding the language will be analyzed. However, it was verified that a speech can increase confusion and decrease the learning process. For this reason, this study warns about the difficulties that students go through.
