El Micro businesses contribution to the economic dynamism of the northen area of Manabi

Abstract

The present research was based on the analysis of the significant contribution that micro businesses supply to the economy in the northern area of ​​the state of Manabí, considering the cities of Bolívar, Chone, El Carmen, Flavio Alfaro, Tosagua, Jama, Pedernales, San Vicente and Sucre. The work consist in a comparative analysis of the variables: income, number of entities and number of employees per company; and a comparison between micro and large companies, applying theoretical methods of analysis of the information found in different scientific articles posted in highly ranked journals of science. The paper also presents the preparation of tables with quantitative information taken from reports of government control entities that demand information to be public for accountability purposes, with the main result that micro-enterprises contribute significantly to the economic dynamism through the job offer for different types of employees, due to the various activities carried out by micro-enterprises. In conclusion, micro businesses contribute significantly to the economic dynamism of the northern area of the state of Manabí because they outnumber large businesses and exceed the diversity of activities they carry out and, above all, because the number of employees they have, provide the opportunity to many different people, with different competences, skills and abilities to develop products and offer services with the main purpose of contributing to consumer satisfaction.
