Abstract

The study focuses on the analysis of leadership to manage the specific challenges of the health sector and job performance that promotes service quality and user satisfaction. The main objective of this article is to determine the influence of leadership on job performance in private clinics in the province of Santa Elena, Ecuador. The methodology used was a mixed approach, based on the analytical method, applied to a sample of human talent from 12 private clinics, whose field work through the survey determined a growing preference for participatory leadership and digital media in corporate communication, which are relevant to job performance. The results indicate a variety in employee job motivation, with areas for improvement in leadership and management to strengthen the work environment. Although the majority reports access to professional development opportunities, a considerable group faces limitations. This study underscores the importance of inclusive policies to maximize employee potential. In conclusion, the article provides a detailed overview of the organizational strategies and dynamics required in private clinics to improve job performance, highlighting the need for continuous adaptation to technological changes and labor compensations to promote participatory leadership in pleasant and satisfying work environments.
