Abstract

Advertising is a relatively significant and important component for the existence of products in the market hangers, that is, whenever a company, however small or large, it will resort to advertising, to increase the volume of its sales in the Company and thus generate more income to it. The history of advertising goes back to the sellers of advertising spaces in newspapers that not only offered the service as such but already began to offer the design. In order for there to be advertising, well elaborated, organized and of quality, it is necessary to count on the help of specialized advertising agencies, since they are specialists in the subjects that have an impact on their industry. The advertising agencies in the beginning were dedicated to sell advertising for the newspapers, this approximately in century XVIII, being so that its remuneration would be realized by commission by each space sold.
In Ecuador, there is currently the Ecuadorian Association of Advertising Agencies (AEAP) which was born in 1968, with which it intends to start a guild that is part of the industry. In Quito, the first publicity business venture was created, called “Publicity One”. In 1955, Publicitas was created, an advertising agency that helped form the first association in Ecuador, which would seek a continuous improvement in Ecuador’s advertising
