Remote leadership and its impact on the organizational climate in a financial institution in the city of Machala, province of El Oro

Abstract
The study on the impact of remote leadership on the organizational climate in a financial institution in the city of Machala was based on a descriptive, observational, nonexperimental, cross-sectional and correlative approach. The population comprised 22 employees. A questionnaire distributed in three parts was used, the first for general data, the second with 30 items for remote leadership and the third with 40 items for organizational climate. The results showed that the majority of employees were women in the operational area (91%). Regarding remote leadership, employees showed high satisfaction, especially in the dimensions of leadership (77.27%), commitment (59.09%), competencies (59.09%), and e-social and communication skills (77.27%). However, aspects such as motivation, working conditions, conflict resolution and teamwork presented areas of improvement in the organizational climate, with a (4.55%). A positive and significant relationship was found between remote leadership and organizational climate, with a Rho of Spearman of 0.869 (95% CI and p <0.001), suggesting that effective remote leadership can contribute to a more favorable organizational climate in the financial institution studied
