Promotion of Schooling in Youths of the Barrio 15 de Julio, Canton Salinas, year 2022

Abstract

Education is the main tool for social development so it is of utmost importance to promote it, even more so in developing countries such as the Republic of Ecuador, where quality education is not found even in the main cities so it can be found to a lesser extent in the provinces, cities, parishes, communes and peripheral neighborhoods, This research has focused on knowing the current situation of education, generating a community action plan to mitigate this situation. Surveys and interventions in the territory were conducted to collect information that resulted in knowing that most of the target population has barely finished elementary school, half of them have reached high school and a minimum of young people are university students. Evoking a solution, a community action plan is proposed, focused on an environment according to the needs of the students, the equitable distribution of study materials, the participation of students in the planning and implementation processes of the class, self-realization and culture.
